Ken graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1986 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Ken returned to UNCC in 1991 to complete his accounting studies and began his public accounting career thereafter in 1992. He obtained CPA board certification in 1994 and was licensed as a CMA (Certified Managerial Accountant) in 1996. He has served clients in many industries throughout his career, but has focused on providing audit, review and tax return services to the following industries:
- Governmental entities (towns, cities, counties, etc.)
- Manufacturers
- Construction companies
- Non-profit organizations
- Individuals and small businesses
Ken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. His North Carolina CPA certificate # is 22267.
Ken grew up in Richmond County, NC in the town of Hamlet, which is where he currently resides with his wife Patsy and three children – Reese, Cameron and Alex.
